Will they Shed?

Labradoodles are know for three coat types:

Wooly (Curly)
Fleece
Flat Coat

The Wooly coat is most like the Poodle. Shedding is minimal or none. Those with dog allergies will do best with this coat type.

Fleece is the ideal coat for the Labradoodle. Shedding varies but is far less than the standard Labrador or other Retrievers. Most owners (particularly in Arizona!) have these dogs groomed twice a year.

Flat Coat most resembles the Labrador. They will shed.

F1 Labradoodles may or may not be hypo-allergenic. Those with allergies should visit the pups to determine.
